Business number
Your own business number, ringing your mobile.
Your business number is an Australian mobile number that is just for work. It starts with 04, like any mobile. It rings the phone you already carry. Each call to it is logged. You can see who rang and when. It is also the number your texts go out from.
The moment
Your personal mobile on a ute sticker.
- Your own mobile is on the ute, the site and the fridge magnet.
- Work calls and family calls look the same.
- You can't tell which jobs came from where.
- With a business number, work rings in on its own line.
- Your own number goes back to being yours.
How it works
How you get it.
-
You send two papers
Your ABN details and one proof of your business address.
-
The phone company checks them
This is the slow part. It can take a few working days.
-
We set the number up
It rings through to your mobile. You see who's calling. Miss one and the text back goes out from it.
-
It goes on your site
And on your Google profile. From then on, that's the number people ring.
Your part
Two papers, once.
Proof of address can be a rent receipt, a rates notice or a power bill.
It has to show the same legal name as your ABN. We delete that paper once the number is approved.
Plain facts
- It is set up in your business's legal name.
- Calls are logged. They are not recorded.
- It can ring and it can text. Most 08 numbers can't text.
- If you leave, we'll help you move it.
Questions
Three things tradies ask.
Do I have to change my number?
No. Keep your mobile as it is. The business number is extra. It rings the same phone.
Can I see who rang?
Yes. Each call is logged in the app, with the time. Your phone shows the caller as it rings. So you know which calls were work.
What happens to the number if I leave?
We'll help you move it. We can't promise more than that yet, so we won't.
One price
It's in the price.
Full price $299 $99 a month for the first 10 tradies. Your first 3 months are $99. Then it's $299 a month.
